Who is responsible for what
Skaline (platform)
- Showing listings, booking and taking payment on behalf of the host
- Confirming the booking and the cancellation terms
- Refunds according to the cancellation policy
- Support for guests and hosts, handling complaints
Host
- Accommodation as described in the listing and an accurate calendar
- Welcoming the guest, keys and the stay
- Guest registration and tourist tax with the municipality
- An invoice for the accommodation, where the law requires it
Each listing states whether the host rents as a private individual or a registered trader (the host's statement). Consumer rights towards traders do not apply to a contract with a private individual.
